About Me

I launched the Unf*ck Your Habitat brand in 2010 to motivate regular people to get up, start cleaning, and get their lives in order. I've written two traditionally published books, and my first book has been translated into five languages. My advice and work have appeared in publications and on websites such as Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, Elle, Real Simple, NBC News, Apartment Therapy, Livestrong, House Beautiful, The Times (London), Quick and Dirty Tips, Ravishly, and Lifehacker. I'm available for articles and posts on a number of topics, with particular focus on cleaning and organizing, mental health, and motivation.

On a freelance basis, I specialize in copyediting, copywriting, and SEO content writing projects covering a wide array of topics. My copyediting projects range from NGO publications to blog posts for consumer home service companies to website copy and more. I work primarily in AP and Chicago style, but adhere to the client's style guide preference. I've also helped develop several in-house style guides for brands to ensure a consistent voice. I've created brand-specific copy and content for clients including medical practices, property management companies, day spas, app developers, and a variety of consumer brands.
